The Best Eats at Toronto Pearson International Airport, Terminal 1

Toronto Pearson International Airport is the second-busiest airport in North America (just behind JFK), making it an important hub for international travel.

As such, you may find yourself stopping into the airport with some time to spare. Toronto prides itself with being one of the most multicultural cities in the word, so it makes sense that its dining scene would be just as diverse - and thankfully, you can get a taste of that diversity in the airport!

Here are some of our favourite spots for travellers passing through Terminal 1

Marathi

(International Departures) Featuring an assortment of staple Indian dishes, from butter chicken to spicy prawn curry. There’s also an iPad ordering system for travellers on the go.

LEE Kitchen

(International Departures) Brought to you by Canadian celebrity Chef Susur Lee. This is the spot to get contemporary Asian cuisine. A popular dish is the dim sum platter.

Boccone Trattoria

Brought to you by celebrity Chef Massimo. Here you’ll find pizza, pastas, and paninis - served in an open-air full-service restaurant, or available for grab & go.

Twist, by Roger Mooking

Canadian celebrity Chef Roger Mooking has created a menu of North American comfort food with a global twist. One must-try dish is the arctic char with a sweet soy glaze.

Bar 120: Cuisine Transformed

Brought to you by renowned modernist Chef John Placko. Aside from being a great bar with open-air seating, there are a number of inventive (and downright whacky) dishes to try here. Anybody in the mood for an edible helium balloon?

Mill Street Brewery

This is a Canadian pub featuring numerous craft beers on tap, and an awesome Montréal smoked meat poutine.
