Forget Everything You Thought You Knew About Airport Dining

When it comes to travel, I’ve always said that being somewhere new is exciting, but the process of getting there can be hellish. You’re tired, you’re stressed, you’re dealing with other people who are also tired & stressed, and it’s such a process to get to your destination.

Thankfully, one aspect of travel is evolving: airport dining.

In the first season of Nom Voyage, our latest series for Travel Channel, we take you through some of North America’s busiest airports in search of the best spots to grab a bite before you catch your flight.

Wicker Park Seafood & Sushi Bar, Chicago O’Hare International Airport

The restaurants that we feature offer up quality dishes, drinks & dessert that are diverse and delicious. Whether you’re looking for something healthy, indulgent, innovative, or just really tasty, these airports have something for everyone.

Urth Caffe & Bar, Los Angeles International Airport

Many of the restaurants featured are proudly local, giving you a taste of the city if you’re on a layover and unable to leave the airport. It’s great to see our North American airports catching up to their international counterparts. Your vacation doesn’t begin once you land… it starts the moment you enter the airport!

Chicken + Beer, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport

Fast food and chain restaurants will always be available - let’s face it, sometimes you’ll just want something that is familiar or affordable. But if you’ve an appetite for something new, this series is for you!

Check out more episodes and plan to get to the airport a little early for your next trip. Nom Voyage!
